Text Box: RIVERSIDE UNITED CHURCH June 20, 2010 GATHERING TOGETHER TO WORSHIP GOD Prelude Announcements and Family Celebrations Welcome Call To Worship God speaks to us, not only in worship, but in all the affairs of life. Worship is our response to that call, a time of reflection, a time of sharing with others, insights into His will. We must learn to search out ways of enacting that will in all of life. So then do we become more truly the people of His name, not only in worship but in all of life. Let us worship God. Prayer of Approach (in unison) God’s call as Christians in a changing world is to live as though the survival of our faith depended upon each of us individually. He calls us to make of our lives beacons of committed Christian living. In worship, we gather our resources and combine our Christian insights and efforts. For we are all called to increase the impact of our faith upon the life of the times in which we live. This prayer we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
